The update is done automatically without the users intervention

Amazon has started pushing an update for the Kindle Fire over WiFi which is reported to brake the root for those of you who felt adventurous enough to get full control over your 7-inch tablet.

The company hasn’t said what this new update will get you in terms of features, other than that it will bring a series of “improvements,” but two things are certain at this point.

Number one is that the Fire is configured to automatically download the update over a WiFi connection without the user’s intervention while the second is that you will lose root access after the update is performed as Liliputing report.

The update also uninstalls Android Market if you have the app on your Kindle Fire, along with some custom keyboard apps.

However, the good news is that gaining superuser access is as easy as re-rooting the tablet, which definitely isn’t hard, but annoying none the less.
