Only pre-orders can be set for now though, with shipments starting next month

Amazon may have launched the Kindle Touch E-reader some time ago, but it has yet to ship it to all parts of the world.

We now learn that a step in the right direction has been taken.

More specifically, even though international shipments are still not quite there yet, pre-orders can be placed in Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Prospective customers will get to select between Wi-Fi and 3G versions.

For those that don't remember, the Kindle Touch totally lacks buttons, and uses a touch-enabled e-ink display. In other words, it's the one in the middle of that photo up there.

It is on April 27 that Amazon will begin to honor orders. The price is of 129 Euro (189 Euro for the 3G model), and £109 in the UK (£169 for 3G).
