The internet is full of photos with celebrities exposing their privates because they left home without any underwear. Yet, mysteriously, there are no photos of Amanda Seyfried in such a pose, considering that she just admitted that going commando made her feel “empowered.”

In a recent interview with the French Grazia Magazine, the “Les Miserables” actress confessed that she does occasionally leave home without an essential bit of kit that for many is indispensable when leaving the house.

The magazine asked Amanda if she would ever consider leaving home without any underwear on, to which she enthusiastically replied, “Yes! But I wouldn't let anyone notice. It's something very personal. Being the only one to have a secret makes you feel very empowered.”

The secrecy of it all, combined with the sheer freedom, is enough to make Amanda feel like she's in control. But don't get the wrong idea. While she does confess that she has a healthy attitude towards shedding all one's clothes, she's not going around town flaunting “the goods.”

The 28-year-old revealed that she would never expose what she called her “intimacy” by filming real love scenes, like the actors for the recent movie “Nymphomaniac” are rumored to have done.

In her opinion, there is no problem with going the full monty on film if it's artistically and tastefully done, but making love for real is “often gratuitous and unnecessary. I think it's great that Shia LaBeouf did ‘Nymphomaniac’, but I don't want to reveal my intimacy to the whole world,” she concluded.

Amanda has had her fair share of racy scenes on film and she claims that they have taught her a lot, about just how much she's willing to reveal and what her exact limits are. It's good to know that at least some of the stars in Hollywood today haven't lost their sense of decency in favor for more media exposure.
