A couple caught assembling pressure cooker bombs with the intent to blow up a government building in Victoria, Canada have been living together for three years, police say.

Amanda Korody and John Nutall lived in a dirty apartment, with clothes scattered everywhere, a stained mattress and an uncleaned litter box.

Landlord Shanti Thaman described for CTV News that they were very messy and they were living off welfare. As you can see above, they owned pellet guns and would shoot the TV in the small room.

Police have also recovered prescription drug bottles, including methadone in their apartment. Nuttall suffered from a substance abuse problem in the past, sources have said.

As I mentioned, friends of 28-year-old Korody stresses that she only converted to Islam after she met the 38-year-old man.
