A judge has awarded Amanda Bynes’ parents conservatorship, which, as reported, they have requested in July.

Rick and Lynn Bynes noticed their daughter's erratic behavior a while ago. Recently, she started a fire in her driveway in Thousand Oaks, burning the dog that had been brought along.

New York Daily News reported that Ventura County Judge Glen Reiser allowed Lynn Bynes to control her daughter's financial expenses and medical treatment.

Amanda will be spending another 30 days in a psychiatric facility where she is currently being treated for schizophrenia. She was already bound to spend 30 days in the center.

The actress was set to appear in the Thursday hearing, but staff at the clinic did not allow her to leave. She has just now started to take her medication.

"She's not improving yet. She's still delusional. These meds take longer than a week to work, and she's only been given them for about a week," a source said.
