Troubled teen star Amanda Bynes has completed her inpatient treatment and has been released into her parents' custody, for the next phase of her rehabilitation process. People Magazine has spoken to the family's lawyer and found out that Amanda will be continuing her treatment from home.

"Amanda has completed her inpatient rehabilitation and she's feeling better every day," says the statement from her family's lawyer, Tamar Arminak.

It adds that even if Amanda is no longer at the facility, her treatment is still undergoing as an outpatient, which, it is hoped, will help her reestablish the relationship with her family.

The 27-year-old former Nickelodeon star was forcibly hospitalized at the rehab facility a couple of months back for schizophrenia and bi-polar disorder. This was done after Amanda had displayed an erratic behavior which started with insulting tweets to random celebrities, continued with a dispute with the New York dog walking park, and culminated with a driveway burning incident in which she tried to set fire to a California driveway and her own dog, back in July.

Her progress has been carefully monitored, as it as been divulged she'd been taking supervised trips twice a week prior to her discharge. Her behavior seems to have also improved once she started medication and her parents were thrilled at the possibility of their daughter leading a normal life.

Now Amanda is said to be doing fine and even considering the option of getting into a college. It looks as though the troubled former teen star has her eye set on a major in fashion design, as she's disclosed to people close to her that she's interested in creating a personal clothing line.

The statement from lawyer also adds that Bynes has been discharged into her mother's custody who has assumed indefinite control over her daughter, both in financial terms and in terms of overall well-being.
