Miley Cyrus refuses to play into the Amanda Bynes feud, says Bynes is “just so sad”

Because Amanda Bynes’ latest favorite word is “ugly,” the other day, she recently decided to throw in around on Twitter some more, particularly in reference to Miley Cyrus and Drake. It’s her choice to call Miley “ugly” that’s gotten her some harsh criticism online.

Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton came to Miley’s “rescue,” pointing out to Amanda in more or less the same words that, as the saying goes, “ugly is as ugly does.”

According to Miley’s new interview with radio station Hot 95.5, she didn’t need him to have her back because Amanda can say whatever she wants because she, Miley, has no intention of further fueling this one-sided feud.

“I won't even entertain that thought. I think it's all so sad and I don't want to add any fuel to that fire. It's so sad to me,” she says of the way Bynes attacked her on social media.

For the record, the tweet “Ur ugly,” including a recent photo of Miley on the red carpet (looking anything but, if we might add), on Amanda’s feed, has been removed since it went viral.

It’s of no consequence, though, Miley assures, but she does appreciate the irony of the situation, what with Bynes trying to ride her coattails to extend her fame.

“I was rooting for her comeback until she started attacking me, and I just thought it was hilarious that she mentioned my name the moment I was the worldwide trending topic on Twitter,” she says.

“It's just funny the moment you're a trending topic how many people want your name to come out of their mouth, so somehow they can associate and maybe they can become a trending topic,” Miley adds.

The interview in question is embedded below. It also includes a denial from Miley that she’s dating Justin Bieber because that would mean cheating on her fiancé Liam Hemsworth.
