Google makes more and more important steps to become a powerful company in the audio market, the most impressive being the recent deal signed with Clear Channel. If you didn?t know, Clear Channel is one of the most powerful companies in the audio market, owning a considerable number of radio stations. Using the partnership, the Mountain View firm aims to distribute audio adverts to all these radios and get closer to the offline advertising companies. Today, Corrine Perri, Senior Account Executive, Google Audio, provided some hot deals about the agreement, revealing that Google can create 30 seconds adverts and send them to 675 Clear Channel AM & FM stations.

"These Clear Channel Radio stations, when combined with our existing radio station partners, give our advertisers access to radio inventory on over 1600 top-rated radio stations throughout the country, with "Top 10" stations in 24 of the top 25 U.S. markets and coverage of over 99% of the U.S. population aged 12 and older (meaning 99% of people 12+ can tune in an hear one of our stations; Source: ACT1 / Arbitron)," the Google employee mentioned.

In the recent period, Google worked a lot on its advertising platform, aiming to make it better and expand it into the offline media. It all started a long time ago, when the search giant decided to sign a deal with several newspapers and publish a selected number of adverts on their pages. Just after this test session was completed, Google started a new campaign and sent audio ads to several radio stations to play them. The selected advertisers were quite pleased by the Google initiative, sustaining that the Mountain View company should release a special solution for this campaign. Recently, Google announced that it plans to take the advertising process straight in the street and place commercials on the billboards.
