As odd as it sounds, it is made for high-end LGA2011 workstations

The LGA2011 socket is the one that will receive the top-most Core i7 central processing units from Intel, as well as the latest and greatest Xeon chips.

Thus, since desktops and workstations based on them are bound to work long and hard, one would think that the coolers used for the CPUs would be big and strong.

That's not what Arctic feels should happen. The company has released the Alpine 20 Plus CO, a low-profile CPU cooler made of a dense aluminum heatsink and a 92 mm PWM-controlled fan (600 – 2,200 RPM).

Overall, the cooler measures 99 mm x 95 mm x 80 mm (3.89 x 3.74 x 3.14 inches) and weighs 440 grams / 0.97 pounds.

The price is of $17.90 / €14, and orders can be made here.
