People might not know this, but headphones don't automatically qualify as headsets. Not if they lack even the barest essentials in terms of audio controls. Attitude One has just launched a product that can be both.
The new product is called Almaz and is a set of headphones that can become a headset when connected to the voice communication adapter sold as part of the same product bundle.
Said voice communication adapter has a microphone mute and volume control included. The microphone is a patent pending flexible model, and you can turn it mute with a single button press.
That's not the only thing that Attitude One included in the box though. The company also tossed in a pair of cords, one for Apple iDevices and one for Android gadgets. There are 1.2-meter / 4-foot and 0.9-meter / 3-foot cables of both types.
Furthermore, the product comes with a 7-meter / 23-foot HiFi cable with 3.5 mm plugs. When using it, the audio quality should be better than on the other, and it will let you lounge on a couch or bed, or wherever else.
Other features include high performance 40mm drivers (deep bass and great clarity), a foldable design (“easy storage and compact carrying”), a canvas carrying pouch, a 3.5mm stereo jack socket to 6.3mm plug, and an adjustable headband, plus soft cushion ear-pads.
Basically, Attiude One spared no expense in turning this into a headphone/headset that is at once capable, comfortable and versatile.
Even consumer tastes were taken into account. The company has six different colors available for buyers to choose from: black, blue, white, orange, green and pink.
Sadly, the €100 / $100 – 137 product won't be up for sale until at some point next month (November 2013).
