Romanian manufacturer Allview has just announced a brand new Android tablet called the 2 Speed Quad.

The new slate comes sporting an 8-inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. It allows users to view 4K videos and most importantly stream wirelessly or transfer files to an HD TV using the Miracast technology.

Specification wise, Allview packed a Corex A7 1GHz Quad Core processor with 1GB of RAM and Power VR SGX544 MP2/8core GPU for graphics.

The 2 Speed Quad offers Dual Display function, so when the tablet is connected to an HD TV via the Smart2View adaptor or HDMI cable, users can watch a music video on the TV and at the same time chat with friends and family on the tablet.

When battery life is concerned, the device is said to last up to 7 hours, which is pretty good. Internal memory is set to 8GB. The slate also features a microSD card, two cameras and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

Customers can choose between a white and a black variant. The price for the 2 Speed Quad has been set to $200 / €148 or $230 / €170 if you want the wireless display adapter Smart2View as well.
