To celebrate this year's upcoming Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead), a Spanish holiday, Alltel Wireless is preparing to organize a Mi Círculo, Mi Música concert. The bands that will perform during the event are well-known in Mexico and in other Spanish-speaking countries: Reik and Ha-Ash.

With over one millions CDs sold worldwide, the Mexican band Reik has three male members, and plays a Latin pop that brought them nominations to several awards, including a Latin Grammy, MTV Video Music Awards, and Premio Lo Nuestro. Reik also participated at the 2007 edition of Mi Círculo, Mi Música.

Ha-Ash hails from Mexico too, but is a band formed by only two members, the sisters Hanna Nicole and Ashley Grace Perez Mosa. Their Latin pop / country songs they recorded so far have brought them a contract with Sony Music, which resulted in more than half a million CDs sold across the globe.

The Mi Círculo, Mi Música concert will take place on November 1, in downtown El Paso, Texas. The event will be an open-air one, and anyone is free to attend it. The sole condition is to go to an Alltel retail store from El Paso or Las Cruces, New Mexico, to get a free ticket.

Users can also enter a competition that offers them the chance to win a VIP concert pass that includes premier seating, access to an exclusive VIP after party and lots of gift bags.

Talking about the upcoming event, Director of Multi-cultural Marketing for Alltel Wireless, Regina Woziwodzki, declared, “Alltel’s Mi Círculo, Mi Música celebration is about bringing people together through the music they know and love. This year, we’re excited to be back in El Paso for Día de Los Muertos, bringing people together on a day when the focus of the whole community is celebrating with family and friends.”
