'Tis the season to be? creative whilst jolly

Has the Holidays feeling caught up with you or are you still trolling around the mundane weeks of work that precede the merry time? Here's the way Aidan Chopra, a Google SketchUp Product Evangelist, thinks you should go by for achieving at least the primary stages of "jolliness": help him draw ole Saint Nick's sleigh, because at the moment his reindeer are on flats. How would that even be possible, would a reindeer's flat hoof just wobble or would it deflate the entire leg? Must look into that.

The modeling that Chopra has done so far is for the cooperation of this Christmas between Google and NORAD in order to track Santa's Sleigh as it journeys across the globe. Wait, that's not possible, Santa doesn't have a sleigh yet, that's up to you to handle. And do it with care, mind you. It doesn't to look anything like a traditional sled or mimic the pictures that you were shown as a kid, I mean it's magical after all, if you want to cross-reference Cinderella with the fat guy in the red jumpsuit, feel free to turn it into a pumpkin. Yours won't probably get picked, but at least you'll have a good time modeling it and that's all that matters.

Chopra added his part in the following days: "Every couple of days until December 20th, I'll add all the models in the 3D Warehouse that are labeled with the above tag to the Model Santa's Sleigh collection. Even if you're not submitting anything, you can check out the collection and comment on the models that folks have uploaded. Sometime early in January, I'll post to this blog with a sampling of sleighs from modelers around the world, and the cr?me de la cr?me will get top billing in January's SketchUpdate newsletter."

A good time altogether or that's how it looks like, if you're not uploading, you're laughing at what others have.
