14 DAY TRIAL // After announcing a new 12mm f/2.0 along with a 10mm f/2.8 lens for Fujifilm's X-mount back in August, Samyang Asia confirmed yesterday on their Facebook page that all existing Samyang lenses will also be compatible with X-mount cameras in the future.
At the moment only four Samyang lenses (8mm f/3.5, 16mm f/2.0, 24mm f/3.5 tilt shift and 300mm f/6.3 mirror lens) can be used on Fujifilm X-mount cameras.
Regarding a timetable or release roadmap for the upcoming X-mount lenses, Samyang Asia said that it “will be available soon.”
Earlier this month, Samyang announced four new high-quality cine lens kits aimed at professional filmmakers, enthusiasts and film schools.
The new kits come in dedicated “hard” cases and include the following lenses: Samyang V-DSLR 14mm T3.1 ED AS IF UMC, Samyang V-DSLR 16mm T2.2 AS UMC, Samyang V-DSLR 24mm T1.5 ED AS IF UMC, Samyang V-DSLR 35mm T1.5 AS AS UMC, Samyang V-DSLR 85mm T1.5 AS IF UMC and Samyang 500mm F6.3 DX Mirror.
