Now that Alienware released the second version of its compact but powerful M11x gaming notebook not so may people show interest in its predecessor, so the company though it's just about time to get some of the lost attention back with a new promotion.

This knocks off $315 from the notebooks initial price which brings it to just $799, roughly 574 Euros, which is about as much as you would pay for an Core i5 or Core i7 notebook.

The only downside to the original M11x is that it doesn't come with a Sandy Bridge processor, but the 1.2GHz Core i7-640UM should still be able to provide quite decent performance.

This is especially true in games where the CPU is seconded by an Nvidia GeForce GT 335M graphics card with 1GB of video buffer.

The rest of the machines specs include 4GB RAM and a 320GB hard drive. The discount coupon can be redeemed from Logic Buy.
