Alienware doesn't lose any time. As soon as a hardware company launches a new product (designed to enhance the gaming performances of their systems), the company implements it.

After NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX, now the manufacturer of high-performance desktop, notebook, media center, and professional systems, announced that select Alienware Aurora systems are now available to be configured with the new AMD Athlon 64 FX-57 processor.

Available now on Alienware Aurora 7500 and Aurora ALX systems, the AMD Athlon 64 FX-57 processor is designed to optimize the performance and realism of 3D games that require large amounts of memory.

An integrated DDR memory controller directly connects the processor to the memory, combined with cutting-edge HyperTransport(TM) technology, greatly increasing bandwidth and reducing latency.

Aurora systems powered by the AMD Athlon 64 FX-57 processor offer a number of innovations to enhance the user experience, including Enhanced Virus Protection(a) and Cool'n'Quiet(TM) technology. Enhanced Virus Protection hinders the spreading of malicious viruses, while Cool'n'Quiet technology reduces the heat output of systems and enables quieter operation.

"The AMD Athlon 64 FX-57 processor is the latest technology in the groundbreaking history of AMD64 architecture, and Alienware Aurora systems offer a perfect means for experiencing this newest advancement firsthand," said Jonathan Seckler, senior product manager, Desktop Business, Microprocessor Solutions Sector, AMD.
