The vehicle is a concept, for the time being

That's probably the most perverse vehicle I've ever seen! (and wanted?ups!). Needless to say, the guy behind this wacky invention is called Cramer, just like the Seinfeld character.

As you probably all know, the bicycle is a pedal-driven, human powered vehicle with two wheels attached to a frame, or behind the other, and which was first introduced in the 18th century. Who would have ever imagined what would happen to the poor bicycle today! Or better, that some "brilliant" mind would turn it into an adult toy!

The vehicle is a custom-made time-trial cycle with all sorts of weird and wonderful to use innovation features, from a woman's point of view.

Ladies, this bike is said to be extremely light, since the manufacturers used some carbon composite when creating the handlebars, as well as stem and fork in the single place. The handlebars connect to the frame via a pivot, and the seat...ouch! has a hole on it, to keep you cool while you work your pedals. What else did you think?

In case, you're wondering where the name came from, an Oryx is a large antelope species, which has long straight almost upright or swept back horns, and judging by the vehicle's design, you can easily imagine the link.

The great Y-frame shape means that the bike is shock proof, there is also a one-sided fork and a chain-stay.

The bike's crack is designed like a ring and mounted inside the frame on a couple of ball bearings. Not to mention the wheels detach from the bike at a push of a button. Why would anyone detach the wheels?

All in all, it does look like the bike from the future, when people are going to ride 'wheelless' bikes. And it's pretty clear that Mr Cramer's invention is not going to be used in time trial races like the Tour de France.

Sure it looks cool, but I bet it doesn't work quite like Mr Garrison's IT now, does it?
