Sega has offered more details about the Alien: Isolation Crew Expendable pre-order add-on and has revealed that select customers will also be able to get their hands on another expansion that focuses on Alien movie heroine Ellen Ripley.

Alien: Isolation was revealed to the world earlier this year, with developer Creative Assembly and publisher Sega promising to deliver a survival horror experience that stars Amanda Ripley, the daughter of Alien movie protagonist Ellen Ripley.

The game will focus on her adventures against a deadly Xenomorph, but Sega revealed yesterday that all those who pre-order the game ahead of its release this fall will see their copy upgraded to the Nostromo Edition, which includes a special Crew Expendable DLC.

The add-on allows players to control Ellen Ripley and other Alien characters like Dallas or Parker and go through a special adventure on board of the Nostromo space ship.

Sega has offered some more details on its website, complete with details about bringing back the original Alien movie cast for the new DLC.

"Working with the original cast has been an incredible experience," Creative Lead Alistair Hope said. "It was important to us to have the key original cast members reprise their roles in order to perfectly capture the atmosphere of the movie. For some of the original cast, this is their first appearance in an Alien video game. Seeing them reprise those roles after 35 years was an unforgettable experience."

What's more, Sega has also said that North American fans who pre-order the game at large retailer GameStop, as well as those from Europe who visit select stores, will also receive another DLC pack besides the Crew Expendable one, called Last Survivor.

In the special DLC, players will also control Ellen Ripley in another special adventure modeled after the movies.

"In Last Survivor players pick up the story as Ripley tries to escape on the Narcissus. On hearing the screams of Lambert and Parker, players must navigate their way back down through the Nostromo in order to activate the self-destruct sequence, before retracing their steps back to the Narcissus shuttle and their escape."

Fans can pre-order Alien: Isolation ahead of its release on October 7, worldwide, for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms.

You can expect both Sega and Creative Assembly to offer even more details and info about the impressive survival horror experience until then, probably at large events like Gamescom in August.
