Built by Alcatel and launched by Tata DOCOMO carrier, Alcatel One Touch Net is also known as the unofficial Yahoo! mobile phone. The reason behind this codename might be the fact that it comes with a wide range of Yahoo! services and features the same color scheme as the famous service

In truth, Alcatel One Touch Net is just a simple feature-phone with full QWERTY keyboard, which offers consumers Yahoo Mail and Messenger services at an affordable price.

The include optical trackpad makes it easier for users to navigate the menus, while specific buttons with the Yahoo! logo gives users quick access to the company's services.

The handset also sports a 2.0-megapixel camera, music player, Stereo FM Radio with RDS, Bluetooth connectivity, 80 MB internal memory, as well as microSD slot card for memory expansion (4GB card included).

Besides the usual Yahoo! applications that come pre-loaded on the phone, Yahoo! Mail, Messenger, Search (with Voice), Social Pulse, Flickr, the carrier also offers quick access to its own portal “Dive In”, as well as to a wide range of services (My Song, Call Me Tunes, Buddy Chat, My Talkies, Astro Portal, Funzone, Song Book).

Tata DOCOMO has two offerings for the handset:

Prepaid, where customers will get access to Yahoo Mail and Messenger free for lifetime and 250 MB/month free data usage for a period of 1 year.

Postpaid, where customers can choose between two plans, Rs. 199 and Rs. 299. Rs. The first plan will give the user 300 local & STD mins free, while the second will give its user 600 local & STD mins free. Those choosing the Postpaid offer will also get an exclusive Reebok watch worth Rs. 2,499, when they purchase the handset on a Postpay connection.

Alcatel One Touch Net can also be bought through Tata Docomo carrier for about Rs. 5,499 Indian Rupee (approx USD 120) free of contract.
