A provider of online games going by the name of OGPlanet has just confirmed availability for the latest season of their online fantasy role-playing golf game - Albatross18. Albatross18 Season 3 includes, among other features, new community options, characters, courses and a new storyline, obviously, which now plunges fans into the "other" side of the Albatross18 game world - the darker one.

Here's the game's official website if you're looking to jump in on the action.

Albatross18 Season 3 makes a very good choice for all of you RPG and golf fans out there, as it introduces a bunch of new community features that make trading, selling, and socializing faster, easier and more efficient than before. Leaving aside the obviously enhanced user interface, the Psquare, the game's new 3D virtual lobby, facilitates trading and socializing, while Personal Shops allow players to create their own virtual storefronts to sell goods at prices that they decide.

More than that, if you want a mascot, you've got one! No really, you do. According to the official report, players will also be able to purchase mascots, each with its own specialty that boosts your golf game. As for the new gameplay additions, characters and courses, those include:

- Kaz, a new character rumored to be the successor to the infamous Demon King. A master of the sword, Kaz is an enigmatic character struggling with his own internal conflict between good and evil;

- Deep Inferno, a new course covered with volcanoes, magma pits, and flowing rivers of lava. Deep Inferno provides a challenging setup to even the most experienced of Albatross18 players;

- The Spike Shot, a new special shot allowing for greater accuracy. If mastered, it gives the skilled player a definite advantage on certain holes.

"This is easily the biggest development for Albatross18 to date," said Jack Liu, Chief Creative Officer of OGPlanet. "Season 3 is what we have always envisioned our game to be. Not only from a feature-rich standpoint, but from the dark aesthetics that veer away from the one-dimensional cutesy feel of versions past. We've rocked the Albatross18 world just enough to call it Revolution."

Right. Here's the game's official website again. Have fun!
