A baggage handler in St. Paul airport, Minnesota has been caught on camera stealing personal belongings from travelers' bags.

23-year-old David Vang would remove the luggage from the conveyor belt and search them from guns, electronics and valuables.

ABC News reports that over the last eight months, he has caused passengers losses estimated at a total of $84,000 (€64,700).

CCTV footage reveals one incident in which he takes items from travelers and hides them into a separate bag. Vang has been charged for aggravated felony theft and 10 counts of stealing weapons.

“You basically can’t secure bags because of the sheer volume and the movement of the bags and the handlers ability to have the bags where no one’s watching him at any given time,” says ex-FBI agent and security consultant Brad Garrett.
