Airborne Entertainment has announced their exclusive deal with MaudiGames Studio to launch the mobile version of the very popular PC game Ishido throughout North America.

The original PC game was a massive success described as 'stunning', 'flawless' and 'a mesmerizing game that will keep you spellbound' by MacUser magazine.

Taking this into account, the mobile version of Ishido is expected to be just as big of a hit in the popular puzzle mobile games category. It will be launched on several major mobile carriers in the US Including T-Mobile and Cingular/At&t.

"Puzzle games have emerged as one of the top-selling mobile games categories and Airborne is extremely pleased to be partnering with MauiGames to deliver Ishido to the industry's most widely carried small screen," said Patrick Perreault, Games Product Manager at Airborne Entertainment. "Fans will be mesmerized with the depth of the game play which makes the game remarkably addictive and challenging."

The game was originally released on PC as Ishido: Way of the Stones and has become an instant hit in its genre. It was also adapted to multiple platforms because of its addictive and highly popular gameplay. In the game, the player has the task of matching stones of corresponding color and symbols on the game board. It includes various levels of difficulty, multiple graphic themes and is also very easy to control.

"For nearly two decades Ishido has been the second most popular computer puzzle game just after Tetris and its game play style makes it particularly well suited for the cell phone display format," said David Fradin, President of MauiGames Studio a division of AdCell Media.
