14 DAY TRIAL // Hugh Hefner will always be the epitome of a carefree, unconventional lifestyle, which most of us can only dream of. Even in his old age, the Playboy mogul continues to party and date girls well younger than 25 just like he did in the days of yore, but sources are now saying that his health is starting to show the first signs that all is not well. In other words, Hefner is old and ill, they are telling Fox News.
Following a recent appearance at the Canzone Festival in Sanremo (towards the end of February), when Hugh Hefner looked frailer and more tired than ever, reports started circulating that perhaps his age no longer allowed him to party as hard as he once used to. Or maybe the departure of his three girls, Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt, had taken a toll on his health and he could not find a way to replace them – although not for lack of trying.
“He looked so old, like he had aged 10 years in the last month and was barely moving. Things aren’t quite the same since Holly and the girls left. Hef loves all the new ones, but I think the transition really took its toll.” insiders for Fox are sharing, after partying with Hugh Hefner himself. Moreover, reports have it that his “main girlfriend,” Crystal, is always holding his hand and “slowly shuffle[ing]” him whenever he makes a public appearance at some party or another. His other two girls, the 19-year-old Shannon twins, always end up just sitting by and doing nothing, the same reports add.
Hef’s health started deteriorating when Holy, Kendra and Bridget left, but only got worse when bad things about him began to appear in the media, word in the industry has it. Kendra Wilkinson, for one, has repeatedly spoken against her former “sponsor” and his lifestyle, pointing out that the Playboy mansion was more of a jail than a heaven, as she and the other two women were constantly under surveillance. On top of that, they rarely got to see Hefner.
“Besides the nights we went out, I only saw Hef, like, once a day walking through the halls to his office. There were never solo dates.” the 23-year-old blonde tells the mag. “The most we kind of say to each other is, ‘I love you,’ ‘Love you too,’ ‘I hope you have a good day,’ ‘Did you have a good day?’” Kendra was saying in January this year. Since then, the glamour model has apologized for “shooting [her] mouth off” without considering the impact her words would have.
