Indian OEM iBerry has recently announced the upcoming availability of a new lineup of Android smartphones, Auxus Nuclea N2 and Auxus Xenea X1.

We’ve already covered the Auxus Nuclea N2, which has been confirmed to come packed with MediaTek’s octa-core processor and a huge 5.7-inch full HD display, so let’s take a look at what the Xenea X1 has to offer.

As AndroidOS points out, iBerry Auxus Xenea X1 is available for pre-order in India for just Rs 9,990 ($160 / €120) outright. However, the promotional price will be available only via iBerry’s online store and only during the pre-order period.

Customers in India will then be able to grab the Auxus Xenea X1 for Rs 11,990 off contract, which is about $195 or €140. The smartphone will also be available via major online retailers in the country.

Specs-wise, the Auxus Xenea X1 is pretty decent, as it comes packed with a powerful 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT658 processor and 1GB of RAM.

In addition, the affordable smartphone packs only 4GB of internal memory, but thanks to the embedded microSD card slot, users will be able to further expand storage up to 32GB.

The handset also sports a large 4.5-inch qHD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution.

On the back, iBerry Auxus Xenea X1 features an enhanced 8-megapixel photo snapper which features autofocus and video recording, while in the front, there’s a secondary 2-megapixel camera for video calls.

It is also worth mentioning that the smartphone is powered by a 2200 mAh battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer. Other highlights of the phone include: 3G and Bluetooth connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS support and FM Radio.

When it comes to software, the Auxus Xenea X1 runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, and there’s no telling whether it will receive any major upgrades in the future.
