Albatron announced the PC6800GS VGA card, using an Nvidia GeForce 6 series GPU (NV42). The company's latest product matches the capabilities of similar high-performance cards but will be launched at an affordable price, up to 300 EU.

PC6800GS is gaming equipment developed for extreme users. The engine core is rated at 425 MHz, contains 12 pipelines, and is paired with 256 MB of DDR3 memory with a 256-bit memory bus, which can be clocked to a maximum of 1GHz.

The PC6800GS includes Nvidia's line of graphics options including the 3rd generation CineFX engine, Intellisample 3.0 and Ultrashadow II technologies that render realistic images.

The PC6800GS contains two independent 400 MHz RAMDACs with resolutions up to 2048 x1536x32 bpp at 85 Hz. This complies with the card's nView dual display technology and dual DVI connectors. The PC6800GS also supports TV-OUT and VIVO interfaces.

Serious gamers looking for a price friendly VGA upgrade need to put this one on top of their list.
