Cheap Android tablets are something common in India, where native handset makers have flooded the market with their products.

Videocon’s latest tablet, the VT-75C does not have an attractive name, but it stands out from other devices in its range when it comes to price.

fonearena reports that Videocon VT-75C is now available for purchase in India via Infibeam. Customers can grab one for only Rs 5,965 outright, which is about $110 or €85. Check it out here.

The good news is that those who purchase the tablet will be able to use it as a phone as well, though due to the large size, it might not be so comfortable to carry around.

Aside from the fact that it comes with voice calling support, Videocon VT-75C also offers 3G connectivity via USB dongle, which should provide a much smoother Internet browsing experience and blazing fast data speeds.

The 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution. The tablet also packs a 2-megapixel rear photo snapper, as well as a secondary VGA camera for video calls.

Hardware-wise, Videocon VT-75C is far from being impressive, but it does come with decent enough specs. The tablet is equipped with a 1GHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

The VT-75C is powered by a 3,000 mAh Li-Ion battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer. Other highlights of the tablet include: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 support, HDMI port, 3.5mm audio jack and G-Sensor.

Another strong point of the tablet is the fact it ships with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.

Last but not least, Videocon VT-75C comes pre-loaded with some apps and services, including Facebook, ET, Skype, Saavn, TOI, Diamond Twister 2 and Movie studio.
