An egg-like shaped camera is rather irresistible for a bird, and in this case, a Striated Caracara bird has an amazing attempt to get its claws on it, managing to capture some amazing aerial footage of a colony of Rockhopper penguins.

Wildlife photographer, John Downer, uploaded a YouTube video of the sneaky bird snatching the egg camera and lifting it up into the air during his “Spy in the Huddle series.” The video rapidly gathered thousands of views and shares on most social media sites.

The most incredible part is that the bird actually manages to get the perfect angle to film the penguin colony just before dropping the artificial egg camera to the ground.

To make things a little bit more interesting, two vultures stumble upon the camera and start picking on it out of curiosity. Just before the ending, two hilarious penguins also show up for a close-up while inspecting the camera.
