The new Acrobat 8 provides business professionals with innovative tools for communicating and collaborating. Users can now create Adobe PDF documents directly from basically every application that prints. PDF documents can now be created from Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet Explorer, Project, Visio, Access, Publisher, AutoCAD, Lotus Notes etc.
Adobe also say that combining documents, drawings, and rich media content into a single, polished Adobe PDF document is possible, along with optimizing file sizes and arranging files in any order, regardless of file type, dimensions, or orientation. Some might also be happy to know that the collaboration has been simplified, as now, users of Adobe Acrobat care participate in shared reviews and with the "Start Meeting" button can collaborate in real time. The real-time collaboration is possible with the new Adobe Acrobat Connect line of products.
A free trial of Adobe Acrobat Connect hosted service is also available and it is the first web conferencing and collaboration solution to offer "always-on" personal meeting rooms.
