Google News is currently a popular service provided by the search giant that allows you to read news from all around the world and multiple categories using a single website available on a Google domain. The news solution works very easy because it receives information from sources located in the entire world and organizes them by categories. Then, Google News publishes the headlines of the information, linking to the official author of the article. The company was often criticized for this simple procedure, being attacked for receiving praises for information that is not Google's property. Although the search giant links the article to the original author every time, multiple Belgian newspapers sued Google for using their articles without authorization.

Even if the service is attacked by multiple companies, Google News remains one of the most popular news products on the Internet, being visited by millions of users every day. As you might know, the search giant tries to add interoperability between two Google products, Gmail and Google Talk being only one of the numerous examples. Today, the company published a message on the official blog to sustain that webmasters can add a Google News bar on their websites to display the latest headlines.

"We just launched a new cut-and-paste solution for the AJAX Search API that lets you embed a dynamic Google News bar in your web pages," Bret Taylor, Senior Product Manager, sustained in a blog post. "The News Bar is a Google AJAX Search API application that lets you easily add application and page-controlled news search results to your web pages or blog. This control, which provides search-driven bars of news results, is highly customizable: you can specify the news bar's orientation, the number of results it displays, the list of search expressions that drive it, etc. You can control which news results it displays through both APIs, and if you like, through links on your page (e.g., The Dow, OPEC, Iraq.)," it is mentioned in the description of the service.

The new tool introduced by Google is quite useful and easy to use because the news bar can be added with ease by following a simple wizard to obtain a HTML code that will be then included into your website's content.
