Depending on where you stand on Adam Sandler movies, this could be potentially good news or bad news. It's being reported that his latest movie called “Pixels” is going to be released on May 15, 2015, which means that one year from today, you'll be getting ready to watch his antics on screen again.

The 47-year-old actor is ready to make another comedy, despite the fiasco that was “Grown Ups 2,” a movie that regularly lands on the top spot for polls that present the worst movies of 2013.

The plot of the latest movie doesn't sound all that good either: Sandler and his female lead Michelle Monaghan will try to save the planet from aliens who misinterpret classic arcade game footage as a declaration of war against them.

The cast is completed by some other big names in the industry such as Peter Dinklage, Joshua Gad and Kevin James. Sandler is also taking up the role of producer on the movie, apart from that of main actor, but he's leaving the directing to Chris Columbus.

The movie was supposed to start shooting in June, but has since moved up to May, which means that in a couple of days, Sandler will start work on his newest creation. Until then, you can watch Adam perform in the romantic comedy opposite Drew Barrymore, “Blended,” which is supposed to come out later this year.
