Adam Lambert fans can now breathe easy knowing that the wait ahead of them just got shorter: the singer has just finished working on his latest music video, for the single “If I Had You.” Adam made the announcement on his Twitter page a short while ago but, unfortunately, he failed to offer more specifics about the vid, thus keeping fans guessing for at least a while longer.

Some details emerged the other day, when a casting call started to make the rounds on the Internet, asking for people who were skilled in playing with fire (literally) in order to have them considered for an appearance in the video. Also then, it was speculated the entire shoot would take just one night somewhere in Los Angeles. Still, other than it was supposed to render a “magical” yet dark experience, not much was known about the concept.

“That’s a wrap. Whew! Big thanks to the amazing cast and crew of the If I Had You music video!!” Adam wrote on his Twitter page. If one were to put two and two together, one might as well conclude that the “If I Had You” video might bear some resemblance with the “For Your Entertainment” one, which saw Adam surrounded by dancers, both male and female, in a very clubby towards decadent scenery, having the time of their life.

“What to expect from Adam Lambert’s ‘If I Had You’ music video has been revealed. The clip is going to feature fire performers as according to a casting call, his camp are looking for ‘people who can fire eat, fire breath, fire juggle, fire twirl, etc.’ ‘This music video is set in a dark but beautiful forest, where we experience a surreal light show, similar to the Northern Lights of Norway,’ the video overview read. ‘We are here for an artistic gathering of all types of people, to socialize, dance and party while taking in this display of beauty and mystery’,” AceShowbiz was reporting the other day, citing from the casting call.

Bryan Barber directed Adam Lambert’s music video for his latest single, “For Your Entertainment.” On the downside, still no word on when music channels might start airing it, but do keep an eye on this space for updates on this.
