14 DAY TRIAL // Adam Brody and Leighton Meester are showing all celebrities complaining they can never have any privacy how it’s done: the two confirmed their engagement 3 months ago, and a new report is saying that they have already tied the knot.
The acting couple met on the set of “The Oranges” in 2011 and have remained close. They didn’t start dating until just recently, word has it, having managed to conduct their romance in such a way as to avoid media attention altogether.
Us Weekly was the first to report on the “super-secret wedding,” confirming that Adam and Leighton are now married with “multiple sources.” Not one of these sources is able or willing to offer more details on the secret wedding ceremony or, for that matter, the date when it supposedly took place.
“In November 2013, a source confirmed to Us that the resolutely private twosome were engaged. Neither has commented on the romance publicly, but they've been spotted in and around Hollywood on a handful of occasions over the last year. They also worked together again on the upcoming comedy Life Partners,” the publication notes.
“This is the first marriage for both. Meester previously dated actor Aaron Himelstein, and Brody was linked to director Lorene Scafaria and also romanced his O.C. costar Rachel Bilson,” Us adds.
If unnamed sources are not enough of a confirmation for you, there’s also this: BuzzFeed has photos of Adam Brody out and about running errands, sporting a wedding band on his left finger. If that’s not proof that he’s off the market, we don’t know what is.
Considering how media-shy these two are, especially since they started dating, it would be rather pointless to expect an official statement on the wedding. However, fans might still hope to get more details in their upcoming interviews, when they’re bound to say something about their family life.
