Google released a new version of the application

The AdWords Editor application designed by Google is a downloadable tool that allows users to manage their AdWords account directly from their computer. Some time ago, Google released the 3.0 version of AdWords Editor for Windows, allowing all the users of the operating system developed by Microsoft to manage the advertising platform while working offline. At that time, Google's employees sustained that a Mac version is currently scheduled for a later time so the company announced today a new version of the downloadable application.

The main improvements included in AdWords Editor 3.0 for Mac are represented by the possibility of adding site-targeted campaigns, pause or resume keywords, ads and website. The new features offered by the downloadable tool are:

- Site targeting: AdWords Editor now provides full support for site-targeted campaigns. - Negative sites: Add or edit negative sites for keyword- and site-targeted campaigns. - Edit while you wait: If you manage multiple accounts with AdWords Editor, edit another account while your changes post. - Count your selection: The status bar now displays the number of rows you've selected in the data view. - Pause or resume ads, keywords, and sites: Use the Status menu in the edit panel to change the status of selected items.

The company also improved several features such as export to HTML, export to CSV and paste to multiple ad groups. "To avoid losing any unposted changes when upgrading to the next version of AdWords Editor, export an archive of your account. After you've completed the upgrade, re-download your account, import the archive file, and find your account information intact, including any unposted changes and comments," the Google AdWords team sustained.
