The Actions newcomer supports Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean

Chinese Actions Semiconductor has introduced its latest chipset solution for tablet computers – the new ATM7039.

The ATM7039 packs the quad-core ARM Cortex A9 CPU clocked at up to 1.6GHz and PowerVR GPU core of Imagination Technologies. On top of that, super high resolution decoding is provided plus support for the newest international standard HD HVEC/H.265 video decoding.

Tablets incorporating these new chipsets will also allow for faster data transfers. The ATM7039 aims to revolutionize the industry due to its intelligent brightness control technology that allows for low amounts of power to be consumed.

CEO of Actions Semiconductor, Zhenyu Zhou was the one to introduce the chipset.
