Although Acer tablets are not among the most popular on the market, the company continues to expand its portfolio with additional products.

The Iconia A1-810 has just been leaked in France and is likely to go on sale around the same timeframe as Computex, which is set to kick off in early June.

As AndroidOS points out, the Acer Iconia A1-810 is now available for pre-order via French retailer RueDuCommerce for only $260/€200. Check it out here.

Although it’s priced pretty low, Acer Iconia A1-810 offers decent specs, including the fact that it comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box.

Furthermore, the tablet comes equipped with an unusual 7.9-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 1024 x 768 pixels resolution, which is exactly the size and resolution of Apple’s iPad mini.

This is clear evidence that Acer targets the iPad mini with this unannounced Iconia A1-810, the more reason to price it so low.

Hardware-wise, the Iconia A1-810 sports a more than decent 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8125 processor, which is likely to be superior in comparison with iPad mini’s 1GHz dual-core CPU.

The tablet also packs 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

Acer Iconia A1-810 sports a 5-megapixel rear photo snapper with autofocus and video recording, but no LED flash. In addition, it packs a secondary VGA front-facing camera.

For the time being, it’s unclear when exactly Acer will go official with the A1-810, but according to the French retailer currently accepting pre-orders, the tablet will ship beginning June 3.

However, there’s a chance that France might be the first country to get the Acer A1-810, so an earlier launch in other regions is possible as well. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
