Last week we saw rumors indicating that Acer had an Iconia W3 successor in the works, which was been dubbed the Iconia W4.

The tablet comes packing Windows 8.1 and hasn't yet been unveiled officially by the manufacturing company. Even so, it popped up at an event in Netherlands just a couple of days ago.

Now, the same tablet makes an appearance at an Intel show in Bucharest, Romania. The Iconia W4 will be powered by an Intel Atom CPU Z3740 processor clocked at 1.33 GHz with 2GB of RAM.

It offers an 8-inch IPS display with a 1280 x 800 resolution with Wide Viewing Angle. The slate also incorporates two cameras, a 5MP rear one and a 2MP front one, microSD card reader and micro HDMI port.

The tablet will ship bundled with Microsoft Office 2013 Home & Student. There’s no information about pricing or launch date, but Acer is known for its affordable devices, so it should cost more than $400 / €295 a pop.
