The company will only stabilize in the second half of the year

Acer has been changing its management team and modifying its internal organization for years now, in an attempt to once again become a primary power on the technology market.

Unfortunately, not even the new CEO and other staff changes, and revisions to the corporate structure, sales targets and R&D allotments have helped get Acer back on its feet.

The company has been having troubles ever since tablets showed up and totally destroyed the market for netbooks, low-end laptops that Acer used to sell millions upon millions of.

Among Acer's moves to reorganize are things like the establishment of a Notebook Business Group, a Stationary Computing and Display Business Group, and a Corporate Business Planning and Operations Group.

Acer also renamed the Cloud Technology Business Groups into BYOC (Build Your Own Cloud), and set up a special Tablet Business Group too.

The business is now expected to stabilize only in the second half of 2014.
