14 DAY TRIAL // We all knew that Acer’s Iconia Tab A500 tablet was scheduled to get an Android 4.0 update in April this year, but now Acer US has confirmed that the Iconia A100 will also be upgraded to ICS this spring.
The outfit announced its plans in a Tweet that was posted earlier today.
“To all Acer Iconia Tab A500 and A100 users, please expect an Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade in mid-April! Thank you for your patience.”
As you can see, no exact date was mentioned, but this is definitely good news for those of you who were keenly awaiting for Android 4.0 ICS to arrive to their A500 or A100 tablet.
No word yet on when this update will hit Europe, but more info should be available soon.
