Acer pulled the veil off its TravelMate P645 Ultrabook a while ago and has made it available in Europe. Now the company is unleashing it to the American and Canadian market.

The P645 is actually an Ultrabook for business users that comes equipped with Windows 8.1 Pro, reports Liliputing.

Nevertheless, the device could end up appealing to customers who love to play games, due to its dedicated AMD Radeon graphics.

So let’s see what else you’ll be getting with this model. The Ultrabook features a beautiful 14-inch display perfect for gaming content with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (if you choose to go with AMD Radeon graphics).

You can opt for a less proficient display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels (and Intel HD Graphics.) In terms of processors, customers are given a choice between Intel Core i5 or Intel Core i7 Haswell coupled with 2GB of RAM (that can be increased to 12GB of RAM.) Acer will also throw in a 256GB SSD.

Design-wise, the laptop is pretty appealing as well, sporting a backlit keyboard, a carbon fiber lid and a stylish magnesium-aluminum base and palm rest. The keyboard is spill resistant, so you don’t have to worry about damaging it, when you’re immersed in working or gaming activities.

The Chromebook can ship with an optional docking station with DVI, HDMI, VGA, DisplayPort, USB 3.0 and USB 2.0. Other functionalities included with the bundle are GbE LAN, 802.11.n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC support, 720p webcam with dual microphones.

Acer tries to woo business customers in, by adding some enterprise dedicated options like TPM module, the modern fingerprint scanner and the Acer ProShield Manager soft.

Mobile professionals and gamers will be able to carry this device around, as it weighs only 3.3 pounds / 1.49 kg and is 0.8 inch / 20 mm thick.

The Acer TravelMate P645 arrives in stores this month and will be priced $950 / €705 in the US and CAD$900 / $859 / €638 in Canada.
