Computer maker Acer already announced a few days ago that it would deliver to the market its first mobile phone powered by Google's Android operating system, following a few months of rumors regarding the existence of the device, and now we learn that the handset, dubbed Acer Liquid A1, will arrive in November this year.

Moreover, the handset also got a price tag, as it is already available for pre-order on Expansys Spain, where it is listed at €379.99 unlocked (around $570). Considering the capabilities of the device, and the fact that it is the first handset powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon processor that runs under Android, the price does not seem to be a bad one at all.

According to the retailer, the Acer Liquid A1 is expected to become available for purchase on November 28 in Spain, but there are great chances that it will come to more markets in Europe around the same date. One thing that is sure about the phone is that it has the looks, and it has proved it recently in a series of images that show it dressed up in red.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon chip is not the only attractive hardware spec the phone comes to the market with, for it also features a 3.5-inch touchscreen display that boasts a WVGA resolution, a 5-megapixel photo snapper with auto focus, GSM and HSDPA connectivity, a 3.5mm headset jack, Wi-Fi capabilities, built-in GPS receiver, and integration with various social networking sites, including Facebook, Flickr, or Twitter.

As one can imagine, the release date for Acer's Android-based Liquid A1 is not official at the moment, yet the announcement regarding its availability should come in the following weeks. However, until that happens, and more details on the markets in which the phone will become available for purchase emerge, you might want to take a look at the video below to see a preview of it, delivered by Stuff.tv.
