Acer has begun shipping the HN274HBbmiiid 3D monitor, or perhaps it is more accurate to say that ComTech has started to do so.

Either way, there is a new 27-inch monitor from Acer available, one that supports 3D images and video.

To that end, the refresh rate is of 120 Hz and there is even NVIDIA 3D LightBoost support.

That said, the display's resolution is 1,920 x 1,080 pixels (Full HD, surprise surprise) and the contrast ratio is 1,000:1 (100,000,000:1 DCR).

Furthermore, the brightness is 300 cd/m2, not all that bad, and connectivity is assured by D-sub, DVI and three HDMI connectors.

Finally, Acer threw in an IR receiver, LED backlighting and a 2ms response time.

The price is € 474.99, which translates into $621.95, give or take. A pair of NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 glasses is included.
