Earlier today, we reported the Acer Iconia W4 tablet with Windows 8.1 might be headed for a January 2014 launch.

Now it appears that we will be able to see the product earlier, as the official US Acer layer briefly posted a picture of the device, showcasing a few details about it, reports UmPcPortal.

On top of that, Acer Malaysia has confirmed the official availability of the product, giving us a December date, instead.

So it appears the 32GB version of the device will be available for purchase for $329.99 / €243, with no mention of the 64GB model being made. The tablet will come equipped with an 8-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, plus an Intel Bay Trail Z3740 1.3 GHz CPU with 2GB of RAM.

Users will also be able to take advantage of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB and microHDMI ports. Some accessories for the slate will be up for purchase, as well.
