Yesterday, one of the first devices to arrive with an Intel Core M Broadwell chip was officially announced on the market.

I’m talking about the Acer Aspire Switch 12, which is a hybrid device that can be used in multiple ways.

The producing company is marketing it as a 5-in-1 machine, rather than a simple 2-in-1 and that’s because customers can use it in AIO / desktop mode, as well as pad, notebook, tent and display mode.

Now Acer has launched the first promo video detailing the device, in which we’re shown the many faces of the new Aspire Switch 12.

If you are late making it to the party, you should know the new hybrid arrives with a 12-inch IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass delivering 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution.

Acer also says the machine has a fanless design thanks to the addition of the Intel Core M chip that keeps everything working, fitted with either 60GB or 120GB of internal storage.

The machine also comes with a USB 3.0, micro HDMI port, Wi-Fi and a battery capable of bestowing up to 8 hours of battery life.

Expect the new 5-in-1 to hit retailers in the US and Canada in early 2015, but pricing specifications are currently unknown.
