The netbook-mania has made portable computer system manufacturers work hard on their offers. ASUS is already rumored to be preparing the release of its 3G Eee PC, which is slated for a September release. And it appears that it isn't the only player in the netbook market that is preparing the release of a new model for its ultra portable computer systems. Acer is also rumored to be in the game.

As some of you already know, Acer has decided to enter the netbook market with its Aspire One model, which has been announced since early June. This first netbook, the company announced, featured an 8.8-inch display and, like most of its competitors, was powered by an Intel Atom processor. It was supposed to be offered with either a Windows XP or a Linux OS operating system and came with a maximum storage capacity of 80GB, which, it seems, is about to be topped by an even bigger model.

According to the German site notebooksbilliger.de, the Aspire One will come with a 5400RPM hard drive that is going to provide its user with no less than 120GB of storage space. The model, named Aspire One A150X, sports a built-in 5-in-1 card reader and it come with a price tag of just ?399, as displayed on the German website. This isn't that high, especially considering that the device provides so much storage space and it comes with a Windows XP operating system. The German website offers this Acer Aspire One with a 12 month warranty.

For now, there's no available information on when this model will be made available in other countries, or if the listed storage capacity isn't actually a mistake on the part of the German website, but we'll keep you posted as soon as we find out more.
