The white PMP should retail online soon

The Korean brand Acelabs has recently announced the official release of its new mini portable media player, which they immediately dubbed S3.

The Acelabs device looks impressive for a rather low profile PMP maker, being nicely encased in a milky white casing, which contrasts with the pitch black screen display background and revealing a seductive shape. Still, it cannot make the same entrance on the market, as other heavy names in the industry have.

The player is capable of dealing with a lot of file formats on the market, such as MP3, WAV, WMA for the music playback, as well as MPEG-4, AVI, RM, VOB, WMV, ASF for the video player and JPEG for the photo slide show option. Moreover, it can double itself as an e-Book reader anytime the user wants to. Recording is also possible via the built-in recording option.

It's a good thing that sharing the music is also possible with the integrated speaker system, so common these days with almost all the devices of this kind. However, they added a rather generous internal storage capacity of about 8GB to go with all the favorite tunes you may wanna take with you. And if that proves to be insufficient, you may also try and expand the memory, using the integrated microSD card slot it features.

The S3's interface seems to be not bad at all, allowing its users an easy file management of the media content, as well as interactive support in the menu.

As for the real operating time, the player's battery is said to last up to 15 hours of continuous playback. The portable media player sports a convenient size of 88 x 57 x 11mm. Too bad there is no official price tag and availability detail out yet!

Just keep up the good work!
