The final 8 episodes of “Breaking Bad,” billed as the “final season,” which is actually the second half of the fifth season of the show, started airing on AMC on August 11. However, don’t hold your breath for the (remote) possibility of seeing a feature film in theaters.

Fans of the hit series have probably heard that a Spanish version of the series is now in the works, while AMC is ironing out the details of a possible Saul Goodman spinoff.

Still, a feature film companion will never happen, Aaron Paul tells TMZ paparazzi in the video below.

The actor, who plays Walter White’s sidekick Jesse Pinkman, told the paps that a film couldn’t possibly be made because “everyone’s gonna die in the end.”

I love it that he’d never take paparazzi taunts seriously enough to provide a serious answer. I also love it that Paul loves to tease the fans, all the while assuming (I guess) that they know their favorite show is too smart to turn to such a cliché ending.

Moreover, while I’d also love a “Breaking Bad” movie just as much as the series, it’s refreshing to see that Paul, Bryan Cranston and everyone else on the series refuse to encourage gossip as a means to promote the final season.
