iPhone and iPod docking solutions are starting to become more and more complex these days, and that's also the case with the latest product of this type we've come across, namely the AVi Stylix docking station from Chinon.

One of the most important selling points the new docking solution has in store (and, in fact, one of the main features differentiating it from the numerous other products of this type available on the market) is represented by its built-in 7-inch LCD display, placed on the front side of the AVi Stylix and designed specifically to play back the videos stored within the iPod's or iPhone's memory.

Furthermore, the display will also support the playback of video content streamed from online sources such as Netflix or YouTube, both of which are available via dedicated iOS applications running on the docked iPod or iPhone.

The multimedia device also comes equipped with dual 2W stereo speakers, meant to deliver room-filling audio, while in the same time packing digital radio and alarm clock features, that, nevertheless, are considered somewhat standard in the case of any docking solution.

Given the fact that content is stored on such a wide variety of media nowadays, the AVi Stylix docking station from Chinon has also been fitted with four inputs for USB and SD cards.

Plus, similar to most other iPhone or iPod docks on the market, the Stylix will also charge the batteries of the docked iOS device, meaning that users won't have to worry about using any additional adapters for this purpose.

Despite offering quite a comprehensive set of features, the new Chinon AVi Stylix iPod/iPhone Dock is actually quite affordable, selling for just around 99 US dollars, which is a lot less than what users have to pay for most docking solutions available on the market.
