AVADirect has already started shipping systems powered by AMD Llano APUs, but that is not all it has to offer, as the company also issued a press release in which it promotes the Silent Custom Computer configurations.

AVADirect seems to be acting like one of those companies that doesn't do things half way and wants to make sure the impression its actions leave behind is as pronounced as possible.

Putting together and releasing desktops based on the AMD Llano accelerated processing units was, one might say, a good first step.

Now, the company has taken the second one, though in this instance its focus is more on silent operation that raw performance or versatility.

Indeed, the new machines that users can place orders for carry the fairly self-explanatory name of Silent Custom Computer.

There are multiple hardware profiles that one can choose from, a total of four to be exact, their greatest distinctive feature being the processing solution.

The most affordable one, with a starting price of $605.63, utilizes AMD Phenom II, Athlon II or Sempron 100 series chips of up to six cores and designed for socket AM3.

The second one, selling for at least $614.44, has an AMD Fusion A8 or A6 socket FM1 processor, complete with integrated mainsteram graphics.

Thirdly, there is the $701.32 configuration, which utilizes a quad-core socket 1155 Intel Core i7 or Core i5 chip.

Finally, the machine with the highest starting price, $903.30, boasts an Intel socket LGA 1366 chip, with either 4 or 6 cores, from the Core i7 line.

All newcomers have anti-noise features, like Lamptron's noise reduction kit that includes anti-vibration HDD accessories, rubber screws), silent fans, specially-selected PSUs, etc. The complete offer can be perused here, and, naturally, those with deeper pockets can select higher memory, storage and graphics options, among many other things.
