Mobile phone users in the United States interested in the purchase of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom smartphone can now head over to Amazon Wireless to take advantage of the promotion it is running on this device.

The handset is available at only $0.01 with the signing of a new two-year contract agreement with AT&T and is currently listed as in stock on this page on the retailer’s website.

Those who already have an AT&T contract and would like to upgrade to a newer mobile phone can grab the device at only $49.99 (€36).

Galaxy S4 Zoom might not be the best Samsung phone out there at the moment, but this price tag makes it a great option for those looking for a handset with high camera capabilities.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Samsung has packed it with a 16-megapixel camera on the back, with 10x optical zoom.

Furthermore, the device features a physical shutter button and Xenon flash, as well as an F-stop range of 3.1-6.3. Not to mention that it can record videos in full HD resolution.

The rest of Galaxy S4 Zoom’s hardware specifications, however, are not as impressive, starting with its 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen that can deliver a 960 x 540 pixels resolution.

The handset is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, paired with 1.5GB of RAM, and sports 8GB of internal memory, along with a microSD memory card slot.

It also features a 1.9MP front camera for video calling, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, GPS receiver, and a Li-Ion 2330 mAh battery that can deliver up to 13 hours of talk time or up to 570 hours of standby time.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom lands on the market with Google’s Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top, complemented by Samsung’s own TouchWiz user interface.
