If you have your heart set out on an iPad and you wouldn't mind getting it under the AT&T banner, then this might be the perfect time to go shopping for an Apple tablet.

So if you currently have a Mobile Share data plan, you could be purchasing a cellular iPad model and save $200 / €147, on condition that you embark on a two-year plan.

The discount applies to all iPad models offered by AT&T at the moment, including the newish iPad Air and iPad mini with Retina Display.

This deal is a result of combing two AT&T promotions, the first one awarding $100 / €74 off tablets acquired on a contract, while the second one awards $100 / €74 bill credits for customers willing to add a new tablet (or a smartphone for that matter) to an existing account.

For example shoppers will be able to grab a 16GB Retina iPad mini with $329 / €242 instead of the previous $529 / 389€ while the iPad Air with 16GB will cost $429 / €315 instead of $629 / €463.
